L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil

A new happy edition to my life is the recently released L'Oreal Elvive Extra Ordinary Oil, I think it a great product that would work well for everybody so I thought I would give it a little review.

I bought this product after receiving a little sample in a magazine. I had been after an oil for my often dry hair for a long time, but have always been put off by the high price tags of products such as Argan and Moroccan oils and so I thought I would give this a try instead. I have to say I am not disappointed. This oil has so many uses and seems to do all of them equally well. The label boasts 5 different benefits for your hair including shine and nourishment, as well as giving 4 recommended uses: before shampooing, before blow drying, as in intensive masque and as a styling product to provide a finishing touch.

I mostly use this oil before blow drying and I think it leaves my hair super smooth and a lot softer and more manageable. I use between 1 and 2 pumps, rub it between my palms and smooth it through the lengths of my hair from about the ears downwards to condition the lengths. I find some oils and serums leave my hair very heavy and feeling a bit greasy, but this product leaves my hair feeling even lighter than normal and much more manageable. I have quite fine hair meaning it can often feel very dry and damaged looking at the ends, but this oil really helps to moisturise the ends and leave them looking a lot more conditioned. The oil also smells amazing, like a proper high quality product! 

There are two versions of this oil, for all hair types and for coloured hair, as my hair isn't coloured I have just the regular version, although I imagine the one for coloured hair does the exact same thing, but also adds the extra nourishment conditioned hair needs. At only £9.99 I think this oil is a bargain, considering the teeny tiny amount needed for each use and relative to other hair oils on the market. The versatility of this product also makes it a great buy for every different type of hair.
